Cerebral Palsy and Frame Football to kick off in 2023
Sheffield and Hallamshire County FA has partnered with Cerebral Palsy Sport, Sheffield United Community Foundation, Yorkshire Sport Foundation and Sheffield City Council to launch Cerebral Palsy and Frame football sessions in Sheffield in 2023.
The sessions are for frame users and people with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders such as stroke and traumatic brain injury.
The programme will kick off in January 2023 and will be delivered by FA qualified coaches from the Sheffield United Community Foundation.
The junior sessions (children aged 5-15 years old) will take place indoors at the English Institute of Sport (EIS), Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA. These sessions will be held on Tuesdays between 5-6pm on the dates specified below:
- January 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
- February 7th, 14th, 21st
- March 7th, 14th, 21st
- April 18th, 25th
- May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
- June 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
The adult sessions (aged 16+) will take place indoors at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, 119 Worksop Road, Sheffield S9 3TQ. These sessions will be held on Saturdays between 10-11am on the dates specified below:
- January 14th, 21st, 28th
- February 11th, 18th, 25th
- March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
- April 1st, 15th, 22nd
- May 13th, 20th, 27th
The cost to attend is £1.50 per session or £20 to attend all sessions.
