It is with great sadness that we must inform the football family of the passing of former Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Board member, David Morrall.

David sadly passed away on the evening of 15th January after a long illness. He was a devoted servant to football across the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA region and beyond, including many years of service to The FA and as Chair of the Northern Counties East Football League. (NCEL).

Commenting on the sad news, County FA Chair Brian Coddington said: “Dave was a fantastic advocate of football who worked tirelessly over many years to help develop the game. His passion for growing and improving the game was clear for all to see, and he will be sadly missed by the entire football family."

The thoughts and condolences of everybody at the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA are with David’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
