Stannington Village FC come up against reigning cup holders Scawthorpe Athletic in the Sunday Senior Cup final on Tuesday 9th May (7.30pm KO) at Rossington Main’s Oxford Street stadium.

Stannington Village booked their place in this year’s final with a 2-0 victory over AFP in the semi-finals.

While Scawthorpe Athletic had to overcome a strong Westville side 1-0 in a hard-thought win in their semi-final fixture.

Scawthorpe made history last year after becoming the first team from Doncaster to win the Sheffield Sunday Senior Cup after a 1-0 win over Wadsley Bridge Pheasant. It turned out to be a memorable season for The Tangerine Arm as they collected a quintuple of silverware. 

Stannington Village are no strangers to silverware either, having won the Blades Super Draw Premier Division seven times.

Tickets for this fixture are priced at £5 for adults and free for concessions (65+, students and under 17s). Tickets can be purchased on the turnstiles at Oxford Street, with both cash and card payments accepted. Turnstiles will open at 6.30pm.

Car Parking
Please not that there is no parking allowed on Oxford Street with parking reserved for players and officials at the ground only. Instead please park at the Miners Welfare, 82 West End Lane, New Rossington, Doncaster DN11 0TB
