Doncaster Rovers Belles take on reigning champions Huddersfield Town Women in the Women’s County Cup final on Thursday 4th May under the floodlights at Doncaster Rovers’ Eco-Power Stadium in a 7.30pm kick off.
The two teams will meet in the final for the very first time in the competition, with both teams impressively navigating their way to the final without conceding a goal.
Belles, seven times winners of the competition, ended their 13-year wait for a final appearance with a 1-0 victory over last year’s runners-up Barnsley Women.
The Women’s National League Division One Midlands side will be plotting a famous cup upset, as they take on a side playing a league above them in the third tier of English football.
While Town Women booked their sixth consecutive final appearance with a win over Wakefield AFC Ladies Reserves.
They’ll be hoping to successfully defend their County Cup crown, following last year’s 5-0 victory over Barnsley Women’s FC at the Eco-Power Stadium.
The Terriers have a proud history in the competition having won it in 2017, 2018 and last year.
