NLS Club Forum

Supporting our region's Non League teams

New forum set to bring together National League System (NLS) clubs

Over the last three months, we have been visiting National League System (NLS) clubs across our region to catch up on their developments, discuss the impact of the pandemic and better understand how we can tailor our support to clubs at this level.

Sheffield and Hallamshire County FA is constantly striving to support all our clubs, and through our dedicated team of football development officers, administrators, and football service officers, we aim to lead, protect and support the development of the grassroots game in its entirety across the region

NLS

One of the ways we support our grassroots clubs is through our bi-monthly online meeting, Club Update. Hosted by our Club Support Officer Tom Measham, Club Update is open to all club and team officials working in grassroots football and covers a range of subjects such as accreditation, player pathways, funding, club structure/ governance and many more.

While this is extremely well received by our grassroots clubs, we recognise that NLS clubs may require additional support and development to aid their offer to the local community both on and off the pitch.

Therefore, we are delighted to announce the creation of a new Club Forum specifically for our NLS clubs (steps 4 - 6).

The aim of the forum is to bring all the non-league clubs across our region together to share ideas, best practices and potential struggles.

With a large influence on their local communities, these volunteer-run clubs are attracting large numbers of spectators and are heavily involved in engaging with their communities away from football.

And with Non-League Day coming up at the end of March, which coincides with the international break in an attempt to get Premier League and Championship fans to support their local non-league club, next month would be the perfect opportunity to take in a game at your local club.

But many of these clubs need support from the community for more than one day a year.  For the latest fixtures or to get in touch with club officials, please see their website below.
