In accordance with The Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA's Articles of Association, we currently have a vacancy for a Director/Trustee to join the Board.  In line with our recruitment policy we advertise this vacancy for your interest and invite nominations from interested parties currently attached to a Member organisation.

We are particularly looking for people with specific skills / experience in any of the following areas:

• Business Management & Development
• Media & Communications
• Legal
• HR

Help us achieve our vision. 

We are seeking a Director/Trustee who can help us to achieve our vision of widening participation in football across the county whilst modernising the business and ensuring that we make the most of the opportunities available to us.

It is important that the Board reflects the communities that we serve, and we are particularly interested in attracting people from groups currently under represented at Board level - female, people with disabilities and those from BAME communities.

All candidates will need to have a real empathy with the work of Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA, good business and communication skills and be willing to commit to attending regular Board meetings, as well as strategic and stakeholder events in order to help drive the organisation forward.

All nominations will then be circulated to County FA Members with notice of the Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday November 11th at 7pm via Microsoft Teams. Voting to elect an Elected Trustee will be online and details of how to vote will be given along with the notice of the Annual General Meeting.
