Dear Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Leagues & Clubs,

Hopefully you have had an opportunity to consider the FA guidance which has been released via Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA over recent weeks. Currently the guidance only looks at the potential for participation in small groups in line with social distancing rules, it does not include information about a return to affiliated football. Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA therefore does not feel that it is appropriate to open the 2020-21 affiliation window until The FA or Government guidance supports a move towards more formal formats of football.  Clubs are however reminded that regardless of affiliation status, if you have or if you plan to return to football or club related activities in the near future, you must ensure that you have the appropriate insurance policies in place.

Over recent weeks Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA has become aware of some of the activities and initiatives undertaken across our region. With that in mind I would like to thank all football volunteers for the outstanding contribution that you are making to support your clubs and communities during this difficult period.

We are here to provide continued help and support, and should you require any assistance then please do not hesitate to contact the County FA on Support@SheffieldFA.com

Best wishes

U. D. Rennie

Chair – Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA.
