Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA are saddened to hear of the passing of Ex South Yorkshire Amateur League Secretary Albert Gregg. 

Albert served as League Secretary during the 90s and early 2000s and was in regular attendance at weekend fixtures. The role of League Secretary is vital to support administration and sanctioning of leagues along with supporting all clubs involved. Albert's time and commitment to this role would have been greatly appreciated by all involved with the S.Y.A.L. 

Albert passed away at Northern General Hospital in Sheffield early Friday morning aged 86. A service of thanksgiving and a cremation will be held at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium in Sheffield at 11:15am on Saturday 23rd Novemeber followed by a gathering of friends and family.
