Football Futures Camps 2019

Calum Oakenfold
The First Step Into A Future Volunteering or Working in Football

SHCFA Youth Councils’ flagship event returns for 2019! Football Futures day is back again to showcase non-playing opportunities in football such as coaching and officiating. The camp is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged 13-16 to explore alternative roles and activities within the game,preparing them for a future volunteering and careers in football across the county.

Our interactive workshops lead by FA professionals and youth council members will focus on;

Coaching- A practical coaching workshop focussed on delivering fun, safe and engaging sessions for players.

Refereeing- A basic introduction to refereeing focussed on signals used by match officials.

Futsal- A practical experience of the fast and frenetic small sided version of the game that attracts over 11 million players every year.
