SHCFA Council And Board Vacancies
Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA are currently looking for 2 new Council Members and 2 new Board Members. Details of these positions and application process are below. Please also find the application forms at the bottom of the page.
Elected Council Members
The Council Rules state that at the Annual General Meeting each year elections shall be held to elect Elected Council Members in place of those retiring. Those persons proposed to be nominated as Elected Council Members must be nominated by Affiliated Clubs. The composition of Council as stated within the Council Rules allows for up to 12 (twelve) elected Council members. There are currently two vacancies within the 12 positions available.
Affiliated Clubs are able to support the nomination of Elected Council Members and a Nomination Form containing further information is attached. Candidates wishing to be nominated for a position of Elected Council Member must complete the attached form and return it to the County FA on or before the 7th June 2019. Further details about the full list of nominations and voting procedures will be circulated shortly after the closing date for nominations.
Trustee/Board of Directors
Following 10 years as Chair of the Association Brian Jones recently resigned. Nathan Batchelor has also resigned after securing a senior National position with the FA. There are therefore currently two vacancies to join the County FA Board and we welcome applications from across the football family.
Council members are able to propose/second nominations for trustee/Board positions and a Nomination Form containing further information is attached. Candidates wishing to be nominated for a position of Trustee must complete the attached form and return it to the County FA on or before the 7th June 2019. Further details about the full list of nominations and voting procedures will be circulated shortly after the closing date for nominations.
