Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA (SHCFA) has two new exciting opportunities to join our Football Development Team.  

Both positions will be responsible for supporting the development of football across South Yorkshire, in line with The FA National Game Strategy.  You will be a team player, but also a self-starter and able to use your initiative to bring our values to life.

Successful candidates will report directly to the Football Development Manager and must share our passion for the game, have great interpersonal skills and be keen to develop themselves and others.

You will possess high personal energy levels, be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and have the ability to build relationships with our stakeholders at all levels. You will also need a full and current driving licence and be able to work some evenings and weekends on occasions.


Adult Football Officer

Starting salary:  £22,000

Role Purpose:  To assist the playing and development of adult grassroots football by supporting the retention of adult teams and leagues, the transition of players from youth to adult football and the growth of more diverse opportunities to play either affiliated or recreational formats of the game.

Club Support Officer

Starting salary:  £22,000

Role Purpose:  To build, develop and support the infrastructure of grassroots football clubs across Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA.  To support the development of clubs that are safe, fun and inclusive for all by providing modern, fit for purpose club structures and services, which will grow and retain participants and raise standards across the game.
