SHCFA Welcome Ben Hardaker
Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA are pleased to announce Ben Hardaker as our new Football Development Officer.
Ben will be taking over from Jade Elson and continuing the excellent work that she put in place. Ben's role will include helping to develop the Wildcats programmes and support clubs with Charter Standard Health Checks.
Find out more about Ben:
I join the County FA from the Football Association where I have worked for the past 5 years as an FA Skills Coach within the West Riding, throughout this period of time I have been heavily involved in the development of 5-11 year olds within schools and grassroots settings alongside upskilling teachers and coaches to further increase the standards of coaching. Prior to this my background has been primarily within coaching and the development of football at many different levels including academy, grassroots, the women’s elite talent pathway and also overseas!
I am also an FA Affiliate Tutor for the West Riding County FA on their Level 1, Level 2 and UEFA B Licence Coaching courses. This is a very rewarding role and allows me to support the development of coaches involved in all levels of the game in turn to further support the development of their players.
I am a UEFA B qualified coach, have a 1st Class Honours Degree in Sports Coaching and have just started the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. I am very committed to my own development in order to be in the best position to support others develop themselves.
From all at Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA, we wish Ben all the best with his career with us.
