Women's Football

Get involved in women’s football locally

There are many ways to get involved in women’s football across Sheffield & Hallamshire, whether this is at your local club, a kick around with your friends or organised sessions.

There are a number of women’s clubs across South Yorkshire providing football for players aged 16+. The entry level for adult teams is through the Sheffield & Hallamshire Women's County League.

Women’s football is generally played on a Sunday afternoon and many teams have weekly training sessions taking place midweek.
