We believe that equality for all is a basic human right and actively oppose all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination as above and will not tolerate any discrimination towards staff members, volunteers or anyone who is affiliated in anyway with Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA. Anyone found to act against these rules will be dealt with accordingly by the FA and S&HCFA.
We celebrate the diversity of society and are striving to promote and reflect that diversity within the County FA’s own structure.
In 2012 we achieved the Foundation Level of the Equality Standard and are working towards the Preliminary Level of the National Standards for Equality, which will demonstrate and measure our commitment to equality.
We will continue to work towards the aims and objectives set in our strategic plan. We have also developed a County FA Four Year Plan, setting out how we will promote the wide ranging equality agenda across the FA’s four strategic goals of Growth and Retention, Better Players, Running the Game and Raising Standards. It outlines the action that the County FA will be taking from time to time to ensure equality of opportunity for those administering and playing the game.
2014 saw Sheffield & Hallamsire County FA awarded the Preliminary Level of the Equality Standard, becoming one of just a handful of County FA's now at this level.
