Our Team:

All of our coaching sessions are led by a minimum Level 2 qualified football coach. Our team of community coaches includes access up to Level 3 & 4 coaches, who are used particularly for delivery of advanced modules. We have a range of backgrounds and experience within our Community Coaching Team, including a number of coaches who also have experience of working within Academies and Centres of Excellence at professional clubs. Some of our coaches have experience of playing the game professionally, and one of our female coaches has played for England Women’s team. We pride ourselves on the experience and enthusiasm that our coaches bring to each session; which in turn ensures the interest and enjoyment of those taking part.

Who we are:

Formed in 1867, Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA were the first football association to be formed in the world. As the regional governing body for football we directly affect the 120,000 people involved in grassroots football in this every week.

We are responsible for governing and administration of the game which provides the infrastructure for football to be played. We look after the training and administration of referees, run cup competitions, sanction leagues and affiliate approximately 5000 teams and 75000 players.

We are also responsible for developing the game by increasing participation and raising standards. We want to ensure that everybody can be involved in the game from all sections of society.

How to book:

We can help schools, clubs and groups with coaching sessions aimed specifically at the age of the individuals taking part so they get the most enjoyment out of every session.
