Financed through donations by members, the Benevolent Fund has assisted a large amount of people over many years.
Assistance can only be afforded to members of those clubs who have contributed to the Fund, and no Club shall be entitled to make an application until one month after the payment of their subscription.
All applications for assistance shall be made on a form obtained from the Association, signed by the Club Secretary and a member of the Council who is prepared to support the application.

Brian Jones, Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA chairman, said: “It is great to have a facility such as the Benevolent Fund in place to help those who need assistance.
“It is important to remember that the Fund may need to be utilised by anyone and therefore donations are always welcome.”
