Flexi Footie

    •
A fun and competitive game to suit you.

We provide the pitch
We provide the refs,
You provide the players

Flexi Footie is an innovative 11-a-side concept which is aimed at players and teams, who for whatever reason, do not play affiliated football.

Set up by the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA, games are currently played at Sheffield University's magnificent Goodwin Sports Centre and on the terrific 3G pitches at Hillsborough College, Sheffield.

This league has an emphasis on social inclusion and is always on the look-out for more adult teams (16+), of all ages, races, ability, religion and background, to take part in the beautiful game on a more regular basis.

Sheffield Occasionals player Cameron Pollard said: "No Matter what the score, you can always share a laugh and a joke with your opponents and the referee.

"The games are always played in good spirits. It’s also really easy to do the little bit of admin that there is by email or text."

As the name suggests the flexibility of the league means it is easier for players to participate who may normally have other commitments preventing them from playing affiliated football.

Central venues, one hour games, FA qualified referees and minimal administrative duties all provide an opportunity for people to experience grassroots football with minimal fuss and maximum benefits.
