Sheffield & Hallamshire Ability Counts League – To Join or Find a Club
The League provides a pan-disability fixture programme for a range of football ability levels. The League runs five divisions at Adult Male (16+), one division at Adult Female (16+), and three divisions at Youth (U16 Male, U16 Female, U13 Female).
All games are played across four quality venues within South Yorkshire, with each adult division having one fixture date per month during September, October, November, February, March, April and May. Youth divisions will have a minimum of 4 fixture dates per season.
All adult fixtures take place on Sunday afternoons and are officiated by FA qualified referees. Youth fixtures take place on Saturday mornings.
The League are always keen to hear from new clubs who are interested in joining the League.

Inclusive Mainstream Clubs
Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA are aware of a number of mainstream grassroots football clubs who are providing inclusive football opportunities for people with disabilities and additional needs within their existing mainstream teams.

Disability Specific Provision
Aside from pan-disability provision there are also a growing number of opportunities for people to attend football sessions that are targeted around a specific disability. Details as follows
Amputee Football
Monthly sessions for amputee or limbless adults and children are run by the Derek Dooley Football Academy and supported by the England & GB Amputee Football Associations. Sessions are on the second Saturday of each month, 10am-12noon at Goals Soccer Centre, Norfolk Park Road, Sheffield.

Blind and Visually Impaired Football
Sheffield Actionnaires Club provide opportunities for blind and partially sighted children of school age to participate in sports in a safe, structured and fun environment. They offer multi-sports sessions run by professional coaches.
Sheffield Actionnaires meet every Sunday from 10am until 1.20pm.
10am-12pm - Indoor sports activities.
12.20pm-1.20pm - Swimming.
Sessions are run at Westfield School Sports Centre, Eckington Road, Beighton, Sheffield, S20 1HQ.

The Good Mood League is a midweek football league run by the South West Yorkshire NHS Trust for adults receiving treatment for a mental illness.

Elite Player Development
Sheffield & Hallamshire Disability Football Player Development Centre
Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA have an FA Player Development Centre (PDC) for disabled in players from in and around the County FA region. The focus for the PDC is on individual player development and the development of technique in young players, with high quality coaching provided in addition to existing club participation (can be a mainstream or disability football club).
The Centre runs on Sundays from 2pm-3.30pm at Goodwin Sports Centre, Northumberland Road, Sheffield.
