Women’s recreational football survey – ‘Have Your Say, Play Your Way’
If you are a woman aged 16 and above and live in South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas, you can have your say on the future of women’s recreational football to support women across the region to play their way.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro, looking to return to the game or you have never kicked a ball before, we want to hear from you.
By completing the survey, you’ll be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win one of five gift vouchers worth £50.
Why should I take part?
Over the last two years, with Women’s Euro 2022 funding we have seen women’s recreational football grow in the host cities of Sheffield and Rotherham and our remit now covers South Yorkshire and beyond.
You will be helping us shape the direction and development of women’s recreation football to provide more opportunities for women to get involved in the beautiful game.
Who should take part?
You should take part in the survey if:
- You currently play women’s recreational football
- You recently played football but don’t play anymore
- You played football as a child but don’t play anymore
- You have never played football
What will I be asked?
The survey will cover the following topics:
- What your experience of football is
- Why you play football or why you don’t
- The challenges and barriers you have faced in football (if any)
- What your ideal football session / activity looks like
What will you do with my answers?
We will use your answers to identify areas across our region where there’s an interest by women aged 16+ to get involved in women’s recreational football, working with our partners to create and deliver the sessions that women want.
If you decide to provide us with your personal information, it will remain confidential. We do not sell data and you will not receive junk mail or marketing calls as a result of taking part in this survey.
How do I take part?
The survey will take no more than 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed by clicking the button below.
The survey will close on Friday 28th April 2023 and the prize draw winners will be contacted by Friday5th May 2023.
