Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA - Update

Staffing update from the Chair

Due to the impact of the global pandemic and some fundamental changes to the way in which elements of football activity will be delivered going forward, we have, like many other organisations, seen a number of changes to our workforce over the past months.

After many years of continued service to Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA both Carol Taylor and Phil Palmer have now left the business.
Calum Oakenfold moved on to a new position just prior to lockdown 1, with Sam Firth, Mark Wozniak and Nadeem Shan leaving later on in the year.

More recently and after a period of illness Julie Fothergill sadly passed away. Julie had been with our County FA for many years and she will be sadly missed across the whole spectrum of grassroots football.

Through the challenges of the past twelve months as a County we have focused our resources where we believe that it matters most – supporting our volunteers, leagues and clubs who continue to do an amazing job during these unprecedented times.

The County FA structure has changed significantly, but our approach and commitment will not, we are looking forward to working with you to support the return back to football and hopefully progression towards a more “normal” and enjoyable season for 2021-22.
