11 a side Adult Male Summer Football League

Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA is going to launch its first Adult Male 11 aide summer leagues in June.

The Leagues will be play throughout the summer months for the 2017-18 season and will be running at both the FA Hub Sites at SGP Graves and Thorncliffe.

The new summer season for 2017 will commence on Saturday 3rd June with regular fixtures until early August. The league will have various kick off times and will be played on a 3G pitch, have FA qualified referees and unlimited squad sizes. Each game will be 60 minutes long, with repeat/roll on-roll off substitutions and each team will have the use of its own changing room. The new format for the league aims to encourage new teams, players into football and improve the match day experience for all.

Mark Wozniak, Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Football Development Officer for Adult and Youth Football said: "The summer league is a perfect pre-season competition that gives teams the opportunity to an exceptional facility and gives manager/secretary minimal administration as they don’t have to find a pitch and book a referee”.
