Under 13s Challenge Cup Final 2017

The Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Under 13s Challenge Cup final in association with SIV (Sheffield International Centres) takes place this...

The final two teams to battle it out this Sunday 2nd April with an 11.00pm kick off at Scawthopre Scorpions ground in Doncaster – are Staveley Miners Welfare JFC and Eccesfield Red Rose JFC.

This is the game that defines the season for the two clubs and this Sunday it is down to just one game, seventy minutes – with possibly extra time and even penalties at the end – before we know which team will have their team name placed on the cup for the 2016/17 season.

The managers and coaches at the two clubs have this week said how proud they are of all their players, just to get to the final, and what really matters is that everyone enjoy the day, gives their best and that the game is played in a good spirit.

So it’s good luck to both sets of players, and the team of officials for the day, Referee – John Brain, Assistant Referees Connor Everard and Gary Hubbard, and 4th Official Clare Thompson.

Additionally a huge thank you from Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA to all the officials at Scawthorpe Scorpions for hosting this weekend’s final match.

Entrance fees to the final - £2.00 adults £1.00 children and concessions

SIV are proud supporters of grass roots football in South Yorkshire, with 3G, Astorturf and grass pitches available, a dedicated footgolf course at Tapton Park Golf Course, Walking Football sessions and Junior Coaching.
