The programme is available to all young people aged between 14 and 25 and aims to reward young volunteers for the hours that they have completed volunteering in the local football community.

Please pass details of this reward scheme on to any young volunteers you know, whether they are coaches, referees or just helping out at the club!

Volunteers will be rewarded for their hours by being presented with certificates at each of the following milestones 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100 hours. The FA certificates can be added to an individual’s portfolio of achievements.

Extra rewards will be presented to those volunteers who accumulate over 50, 75 and 100 hours throughout the season!

All members of the programme will also be invited to join the County FA Youth Council as and when positions become available and will be offered the chance to take part in exclusive volunteering opportunities within the local football community throughout the season.

Jade Elson, Assistant Football Development (Participation) and lead on the County FA Youth Council said: “Volunteering is a fantastic way for young people to boost their CVs and get noticed when applying for jobs.

“Our current members of Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Youth Council all have very bright futures ahead of them, and they have all been provided with mentors to help reach their potential and I don’t doubt that they will all reach their goals!

“This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to engage with the County FA and our Youth Council. This programme allows the County FA to say a huge thank you to the volunteers who work tirelessly to improve football in the community and encourage more young people to engage in volunteering.”
