Recruiting now for Youth Council Members

Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA is currently recruiting for new positions within the Youth Council (SHFAYC). To apply you must be between the ages of 14 and 25 and able to commit to a number of volunteering hours over the year.

What is SHFAYC (Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Youth Council)?

The Youth Council is a group of volunteers who regularly meet and run projects within our County with the support of Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA. They provide a voice for young people across South Yorkshire and help shape the future of football.

Each member of SHFAYC will have a separate role, the breakdown of each role can be found on the downloadable Role Profiles below.

The Youth Council not only gives you the chance to gain some fantastic voluntary experience, but can give you a practical insight into the world of football. Search #SHFAYC to find out why you should apply.

How to apply…

If you feel that this is the right opportunity for you, please complete and return the downloadable application form by email to or by post to Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA, Clegg House, 204 Meadowhall Road, Sheffield, S9 1BN.
