Disability Football Leagues

Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA is fully committed to supporting players with disabilities and there are a number of ways that players can enjoy football in the area, whether it is turn up and play sessions, clubs, league or elite player pathways.

Additionally, each month we produce a newsletter containing updates relating to Deaf and disability football.

If you wish to join a team or you are looking to bring a team to the leagues, in the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA region we have:

Adult Male League

The Sheffield & Hallamshire Ability Counts League is an adult Pan-Disability league and runs six divisions: Premiership, Championship, League 1, League 2, League 3a and 3b. Fixtures take place approximately once per month.

Junior League

Additionally, from 2015/16, Sheffield & District Junior Sunday Football league will host the junior disability fixtures. Again, these take place once per month. For further information please email: secretary@junleague.com

Women and Girls

From 2015/16 we will be offering football sessions to women and girls alongside our Ability Counts League with the aim of establishing a female football league. Please contact Sam Firth if you would like to discuss this further.
