Club Update

Club Support Workshops

Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Club Update Meetings are open to all club and team officials working in grassroots football.

The aim of our Club Update meetings is to discuss key issues affecting grassroots football, identify and share best practices, and discuss a specific club development area of focus during every meeting. The meetings are hosted by our Club Support Officer, Tom Measham and our Designated Safeguarding Officer, Claire MacRory. We will also be inviting special guests to share their knowledge on the meeting's focus area.

FAQ

Our Club Update meetings are open to all grassroots club and team officials. So if you are a coach, secretary or volunteer, then these meetings are for you.

The club landscape has changed. Across England there are more teams than ever playing football within 18,000 clubs run by over 400,000 dedicated volunteers. The number of clubs is gradually reducing but the size and opportunity offered by clubs has increased with many larger clubs now supporting over 40 teams!

We hope these meetings and topics discussed will inspire clubs to look inwards at their own Club’s processes, rules, policies and general day to day running to make changes at club level to improve your offer and consistency throughout your club.

The meetings are completely free to attend. To register click the 'Book Your Place' button and complete the short registration form.
