Charter Standard In Service

Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA run a free In-Service training programme which strives to help and develop Charter Standard clubs and Leagues within the County FA region by increasing the knowledge of coaches currently working within the Charter Standard network.

Delivered by FA Regional Coaches, the In-Service training programme forms part of the FA Coaching Licenses Scheme.

The programme covers:

• UEFA A/B Refresher Course
• Transition Workshop
• Match-day Management
• Returns from Practice
• Step Mini-Soccer to 9v9

Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA also deliver an In-Service training programme for Charter Standard leagues, which covers the Coaching Football Level 1 Award, Youth Award Module 1, Emergency First Aid, Safeguarding Children and hints and tips for Groundsmen.
 
Matt Handley, Football Development Officer from Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA, said: “As the demand for a dedicated, qualified workforce of coaches and support staff increases within this area, it is crucial that a developed football workforce is in place to ensure the adequate provision and positive development of our players.

“We strongly encourage our members to attend this comprehensive programme of workshops and information sessions designed to support the development of our Charter Standard Clubs, and the army of individuals that grassroots football possible day-in-day-out across the region.”
