Wear your shirt to work day

2:32 PM, Tuesday, 24 August 10. Latest News

The staff here at Sheffield & Hallamshire FA are showing their colours today (Tuesday 24th August 2010) by wearing their football shirts for work to mark the 100 day countdown to FIFA announcing the host of the 2018 World Cup.

The national dress-down day coincides with the 4 day FIFA delegate inspection of England in the hope that it will show how passionate everyone in the country is about the game.

If you have also joined in and have held a Wear your Shirt to Work Day we are asking people across the region to send in pictures of them wearing their shirts to be featured on its website. Please email Helena.pinder@sheffield.gov.uk with your photos.

‘Wear Your Shirt To Work Day’ is supported by Candidate Host Cities and local counties across the country as well as England 2018 partners including Morrisons, BT and British Airways.
