A brand new bi-monthly fan magazine has been launched across the region and is available to buy now from selected outlets, priced at £2.50.

‘first e11even’ is written independently for the fans by the fans and features a wide range of articles from across the region. However, as well as featuring the usual suspects of Barnsley FC, Chesterfield FC, Doncaster Rovers, Rotherham United, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday, it is keen to show support at grassroots level.

With this in mind, the magazine also has a wide variety of content covering Sheffield & Hallamshire FA as well as non-league sides Hallam Football Club, Sheffield Football Club, Stocksbridge Park Steels and Back The Bid Sheffield 2018.

Editor Blake Welton said: “The aim is very much to reflect the diverse footballing culture of the region, acting as a calling card both nationally and internationally with Sheffield recently chosen as a potential host city for England’s 2018 Bid.”

“The magazine is very much about the fans and we are looking for people to get involved in whatever way they can - whether it’s buying the magazine or being a contributor and writing about your club or about football in general.”

The magazine is also hopeful of announcing a ‘new signing’ for issue two in the shape of Dinnington Town - again reinforcing it’s commitment to grassroots football.

The magazine is available directly from the majority of the Club Stores, as well as selected GT News outlets across the region and will be available online shortly at www.firste11even.co.uk.

Representatives from the magazine will also be on hand to promote it at the following games across the region during the coming months:

06/03 - Sheffield Wednesday vs. Leicester
13/03 - Barnsley vs. Crystal Palace
09/03 - Stocksbridge vs. Sheffield FC
27/03 - Hallam vs. Selby Town
