Brian will take up his new post with immediate effect and will remain the FA Council representative for Sheffield & Hallamshire FA.
Brian said “I am very proud, but equally humble, to have been elected by my football peers on the Council to chair the Sheffield & Hallamshire FA and will endeavour to continue the good work of all of my predecessors. I see the year ahead as being very exciting for the County FA and although there are presently difficulties in the financial world every effort will be made to secure the proposed relocation, with discussions being in an advanced stage.”
Brian has always dedicated his free time to the game playing for various teams as a youth and adult and later on in an administration capacity in a variety of roles including extensive work for Sheffield & Hallamshire FA.
