Sheffield & Hallamshire FA are aware that there are still several Club Welfare Officers who have yet to complete or book a place on an FA Safeguarding Children Workshop despite being sent several reminders.
Sheffield & Hallamshire FA would therefore like to take this opportunity to reiterate that Clubs cannot be accepted into a League without being affiliated to a County FA.
Sheffield and Hallamshire FA will be unable to affiliate your club unless you have a Club Welfare Officer who has the following:
i) An accepted FA CRB
ii) Attended an FA Safeguarding Children Workshop
To assist clubs who have yet to fulfil these requirements; Sheffield & Hallamshire FA have organised a emergency Safeguarding Children Workshop:

Please note that this is the last opportunity for your Club Welfare Officer to access a workshop before the start of the new season, and therefore you are encouraged to check that your Club Welfare Officer is compliant with the requirements outlined above.
