E.ON National FA Cup Schools Day

The Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA staged the E.ON National FA Cup Schools Day at Sheffield United Academy.

Twenty one primary schools from Sheffield took part in this event - the first ever E.ON National FA Cup Schools Day saw children across the country take part in various activities celebrating the FA Cup.

“The FA Cup is a fantastic competition that appeals to all generations and through this unique event, we can use the magic of The FA Cup to inspire children in the classroom. As part of the sponsorship of The FA Cup, we are delighted that E.ON demonstrates a commitment at every level of the game and this competition proves that.” said James Hope-Gill, Chief Executive of the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA.

The football festival was in addition to the classroom-based activity, all part of the E.ON National FA Cup Schools Day.

The winning schools - Carfield Primary and Sir Harold Jackson both won football strips for their schools (pictured)
