Sheffield & Hallamshire FA are currently looking for a Football Development Administrator to join the Football Development Team.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide a high level of administrative, organisational and financial support to the Football Development Team.

The person appointed will have a minimum of 2 years administrative experience, including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft packages (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook) and an ability to work effectively with key partners.

The successful applicant will have experience of accounting practices including invoice and purchasing procedures. The ability to multi-task and handle a busy work schedule will be essential.

Candidates must also be team players with the ability to deliver objectives using their own initiative. Candidates should be customer-focused also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Terms and conditions include:

• The place of work is 69 Cornish Place, Cornish Street, Sheffield.

• 40 hours per week (including 1 hour for lunch each day), normally from 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday (some evening/weekend work may occasionally be required)

• Starting salary will be £17,000 per annum.

• The Post is initially a fixed term contract that will terminate on 30th June 2011.

• This Post is subject to satisfactory completion of an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.

The main tasks for this role are to:

• Support the delivery of the National Game Strategy in the CFA in partnership with key stakeholders

• Provide a high quality secretarial and administrative support to the County FA staff

• Process incoming and outgoing payments.

• Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required. This will include duties related to the football development initiatives carried out by the Association.

The position reports directly to the County Development Manager.
