Sheffield & Hallamshire FA in the last few years has dedicated time and effort to develop its Football Development Programme, which has led to the organisation and delivery of more and more football related courses across the region.
Sheffield & Hallamshire FA deliver courses in a number of key football related areas, with new courses being developed all the time in areas including FA coaching qualifications, referees training, first aid and treatment of sports injuries, goal
keeping, Welfare Officer Workshops etc.
Last year alone 1,800 individuals attended courses organised by Sheffield & Hallamshire FA.
This year we are again offering a full range of courses in an attempt to meet the ever increasing demand; we would encourage all groups to get involved to ensure we continue to raise quality and standards of football in the Sheffield & Hallamshire FA region.
The courses are provided on a first come, first served basis and potential applicants are advised to apply early to avoid disappointment.
Coaching Courses
It is essential for the benefit of any football player that they have quality coaching and The FA provides a series of coaching courses from Level 1 up to UEFA accreditation. By getting on the coaching ladder, individuals have the opportunity to progress up through the various FA Coaching qualifications while constantly enhancing their skills and knowledge. We hope that this will not only improve the ability of the individual but also the performance and enjoyment of the team.
Experience is essential for a coach as so much can be learned from the coaching field whether it be working with other coaches and learning from them or coaching different groups of players with mixed abilities.
