The FA is continuously committed to creating opportunities at all levels for anyone with a disability to get involved in football – whether as a player, referee, administrator, coach or spectator.

There’s also a national network of county disability centres, specialist clubs and a structured pathway for individuals to realise their full potential.

The FA also works closely with clubs at all levels to provide guidance and advice on welcoming disabled players and supporters – and to comply with current legislation.

It’s all about creating equality – where everyone has the opportunity to be the best they can, or simply to enjoy ‘the beautiful game’ in the best environment possible.

In all its work, The FA strives to ensure doors are permanently open to people with all types of disabilities and creating a safe environment to play football.

We have applied our ethos of access to our website and have made it easier for the visually impaired to keep up to date by adding a speech button ‘Say It’ which reads articles out aloud – and why we produce a fully accessible version of England match programmes as well.
