The course is 90 hours initial training/16 hours support/14 hours assessment with theory and practical elements, along with distance learning modules. On completion of the course candidates should be able to:
• Coach advanced individual techniques, group skills and principles of play to groups of players
• Develop an understanding of the coaching process, the needs of the players
• Plan and prepare coaching sessions in relation to a match programme and evaluate the process
• Maintain the health and safety of players and others
• Maintain high standards of conduct to promote Association Football
Pre-requisites:
• Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football
• Up-to-date FA Safeguarding Children certificate (within last 3 years)
• Up-to-date Emergency First Aid certificate (within last 3 years)
• All sessions must be attended
