The course is 30 hours with theory and practical elements, an assessed coaching session must be undertaken to pass this course along with distance learning modules. On completion of the course candidates should be able to:
• Promote and establish working relationships and high standards of behaviour with players, coaches, parents and officials
• Achieve an awareness of related aspects regarding children’s football
• Introduce youngsters Under 11 years of age to mini soccer and promote its benefits
• Organise and supervise 23 fun football game like activities including mini soccer, small-sided games and conditioned games
• Obtain an awareness of further training opportunities for football coaching, medical and refereeing awards
Pre-requisites:
• Open access to anyone wishing to develop their coaching skills
• Minimum age 16 years
• All sessions must be attended
