Emergency First Aid
This 3 hour module is included on all level 1 courses. These open access courses are scheduled to enable anyone involved in football to attend or refresh their previous skills. Candidates will receive tuition in basic life support, dealing with unconscious casualties, major bleeding and choking. The certificate is valid for 3 years.

First Aid For Sport Certificate Level 2
An 18 hour course accredited by 1st 4 Sport for those who have attended The FA’s Emergency First Aid course and for those who wish to further their theoretical and practical training on first aid and other injuries sustained whilst playing sport. Candidates will receive tuition in pitch side assessment of injuries, diagnosing/basic treatments, head/facial injuries, strains and sprains, basic medical conditions and basic anatomy.
Pre-requisites:
This course is open access but previous basic first aid training would be advantageous.

The Treatment and Management of Injury Certificate Level 2
This is a minimum of 24 hours foundation course, aimed at personnel acting as manager, coach, trainer or therapist for amateur and youth clubs, and for teachers responsible for school teams. This qualification is accredited by 1st 4 Sport and will be a generic format to encompass a variety of sports.
Pre-requisites:
• The FA’s Emergency First Aid course or a recognised First Aid course
• Minimum age 16 years
